Plan Of The Damned
Welcome to the planet earth where reason and evidence exist
This is where I dwell amongst the terror, horror and death
Sifting through the waste, bodies on bodies in my wake
And if you're searching, you better know the question
Desperation, validation leads to insurmountable guilt
A stock tool of my trade used to recruit, imprison, enslave
I've always been here stalking these lands since time began
I can never die, (die). There's no use asking why
Negativity - is a great friend to me
Hopelessness - is music to my ears
Objectivity - dies in my company
Emptiness - fills you for years
At times of loss and sorrow and grief I offer relief
Devour my words penned and follow the herd
Give yourself to me I promise all that you could want
A place by my side it's offered to you
Play by the rules, you feel a fool, I will deliver you
Consumer of life and death I will devour your time
Come into my house of your own will you cannot leave
Once inside I infect your mind and swallow you whole
Negativity - is a great friend to me
Hopelessness - is music to my ears
Objectivity - dies in my company
Emptiness - fills you for years
THIS IS NOT A TEST
Control and power you submit to me
I rule the earth the stars the universe
I wield power indiscriminately
Who lives who dies? There’s no fucking plan
It’s a craving to cling to this thing
Incredible ride who wouldn't want to hide
I'm the voice in your head I’m not dead
The cruellest of jokes I am your hoax
Fear and guilt are - they’re great friends to me
Meaninglessness - is my stock and trade
Rationality - dies in my company
In my image - you were not made

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
